After we'd been at Capella Ranch a couple of years we had visions of starting goat yoga.  We planted a grassy field right next to our goat pens, we lined up a yoga instructor, and we were even considering working to get the "Original Goat Yoga" seal of approval.  As we started the new year we bred the mothers-to-be and everything was right on schedule for us to host our first session that spring.  In May of 2020.  Funny how a pandemic changes things.

Over the next few years we came to realize that we don't actually need the yoga part - we just need baby goats!  We need to watch them play, and we need to play with them.  And this year, due to one mom who is a bit of a slacker, there are even a couple that we need to bottle-feed.

Baby Goat Interaction Details

• Our first priority is a safe, healthy, positive encounter for our guests and our goats.
• Visits are supervised by a Capella Ranch person, but we just watch the goats.  All guests must supervise themselves, including their own human kids.
• Visits are 30 minutes long
• Up to six guests of any age are allowed during a Baby Goat Interaction.
• This visit is focused on interacting with the goats and does not include a Ranch Tour, but you are welcome to also schedule a Ranch Tour and spend an hour in the Capella Ranch version of paradise!
• Remember to bring your camera!
