Why Volunteer?
-
🐐 Snuggle Baby Goats
Be part of the joy that new life brings! Help socialize our baby goats by giving them the love and attention they need to grow up friendly and confident. (Also… who doesn’t want to cuddle a baby goat?)
-
🧹 Get Your Hands Dirty
Whether it’s cleaning stalls or prepping the garden, you’ll enjoy the satisfaction of honest work in the fresh Colorado air. It’s therapeutic, rewarding, and a great break from screen time.
-
🛠️ Help Build (or Tear Down!) Something Real
From small structures to creative farm fixes, we always have projects in motion. Come lend a hand and learn basic building skills—or help us say goodbye to what’s no longer needed.
-
🌱 Grow with the Garden
Assist in prepping, weeding, and maintaining our garden space. You’ll help make way for veggies and flowers that feed the farm and brighten the ranch.
-
🥚 Collect Fresh Eggs
Gather eggs from our happy hens and ducks—an oddly satisfying task and a chance to interact with our feathered friends.
-
🌞 Be Part of Something Meaningful
Capella Ranch runs on community, care, and connection. By volunteering, you’re not just helping us—you’re becoming part of a place where people, animals, and nature thrive together.

“Volunteering at Capella Ranch was one of the better uses of a weekend I can think of. I got to know not only the Petersons, but also myself.”
Jaxon Gerace
“Volunteering at Capella Ranch is the highlight of my week. I came for the baby goats, but I stayed for the sense of community and peace I feel every time I’m out there.”
Emily Rode
“There’s something incredibly satisfying about pulling weeds with a mountain view and goats bleating in the background. It’s the most fun I’ve ever had getting dirty!”
